Borderlands saves move to xbone?

I have a few Uvh characters from 360 days. I read that they were transferable so I made sure they were on the cloud but now that I'm in borderlands 2, it says I have no saved games please halp

Borderlands Handsome Collection PC Cross-Save

I was just wondering if it was possible to transfer my Xbox One Borderlands 2 save to PC. I originally started on Xbox 360, then transferred to Xbox One when I got the Handsome Collection. Can I use cross-save once again to move this save to PC?

 

Borderlands 2 game saves

I recently accidentally deleted all my save games from my hard drive and also did not have back ups. I was wondering if it is possible to move someone else's game save over to my profile. Reason being is I have a friend who is willing to let me use his characters
since he doesn't play borderlands anymore. I know the game saves work differently on borderlands, even recovering his profile on my console wouldn't allow me to access his characters. But I didn't know if it was possible if he put them on a flash drive and
then transfer'd to me, if that would work.

 

you have to transfer it within the game itself on the 360.

load b2 and in the main menu and choose upload player character. then choose download on the x1 at the games main menu.

 

Ah thank you! Didn't even see that when I was checking the character yesterday! I will go look better lol
