Borderlands remastered please help

Alright guys I could use some help with an issue me and a friend of mine were having.

So I went to his house and we were going to split screen the borderlands remastered on his Xbox one X. so I sign in as a guest and try to join well it tell me I need an xbox live account to do so, so we just added my account onto his xbox. Well after all
that was said and done and it come time to join in for split screen the game would freeze up, like nothing at all would work on the game.

I wonder if this is a bug on the dev side. Have you tried doing a split screen game on another console?

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems trying to shoot down skags and psychos with your friends.

If this is the only game that you're having difficulty with, I would totally start troubleshooting following the steps on our

I'd be happy with Borderlands 2 (no remastering) to be released on current generation, why remaster the already mastered!!!

There is no real incentive to play Borderlands in my opinion. Woeful game. I can think of 5 different games that deserve a remaster over Borderlands.
