Borderlands Remastered Edition

Borderlands: Remastered Edition Appears On Australian Classification Board

So it seems that the Australian Classification Board have age rated Borderlands: Remastered Edition and have it down for a 'multi platform' release.

Could we be about to see Borderlands make its way to next gen??

Bad Company 3. Or a Bad Company 2 remastered edition. Heck I wouldn't mind a remastered edition of BF2MC.

I still stand by my theory that B/C was omitted from this generation of consoles to help developers make money from remasters.

 

There is nothing to be gained from remaking Borderlands.

 

i'll pick it up if it includes the Pre-Sequel game, otherwise only if there is a game drought or a really good sale.

What hypothesis did you test and what were those results to develop this theory? I am not being entirely serious I think. If I am, sorry for such seriousness.

I would guess that BC was left out mostly due to cost. They would have needed to include some extra hardware. I doubt the One/PS4 has enough power to emulate the previous consoles in a satisfactory way. Especially the PS4/PS3 due to the way the PS3 was
set up.

As for Borderlands I would buy it if it included the last game as well as the first 2. I have the first 2, not sure that I played the 2nd yet (if I did it was very little). But have not purchased the pre-sequel. Might actually buy it. There are a few
other game series I would like to see remade for collection purposes. Like Mass Effect and Gears.

I am generally fine with collections of games from a series because the value is not to bad. You get 3 or more games and it is like getting them fairly cheap. If you like the series it can be fun to play them with better graphics and some extra fixes.
Not to mention the dlc being woven in better.

The real issue for me here is that we need to see more new. Fallout 4, great. Another Gears, great again. I am fine with these. But I hope we some new stuff coming. New series to get into. New ideas. This is where MS can really dominate. They have
enough money to pay some quality studios to produce exclusive content that MS would own. Get some more studios of their own. Really push out that new stuff. Come up with some new experiences to complement the games.

 

It's Destiny..... with humour...... HAYOO! The same secret chests everywhere, leveling up..... wicked cool guns, plus the Alien guns..... I'd be in on this......

Now take a second and think how much money those games made from remastered versions. Now take another second to think how much those games would've made if I could have just popped in my 360/PS3 version.

 

Maybe worth a rent because only Borderlands 2 would be able to keep my interest. 1 and pre sequel are meh.

1 was my favourite. Depending on what games were out at the same time, I'd probably grab this.

 

Borderlands 2 would have been better imo but Borderlands was a great game so ok yea.

 

I take this. But don't know if it true or not.

 

I'd buy Borderlands 1 or 2 again if they included all the D.L.C. and didn't release anymore; my biggest pet peeve with B.L.2 was the constant badgering for another "nickle" to keep playing.
