Borderlands GOTY (digital) Xbox One spiderant shutdown issue!

So I have been experiencing the same issue spoken of in this discussion, which was about 3y ago, so it seems it has still not been fixed! I’ll try the suggested fixes & report back…

Looks to be an issue with Borderlands GOTY only on the One X.

I've been playing it on both my Original One and One X and it shuts down randomly only on the One X, with absolutely no issues on my original Xbox One. Others have the exact same issue over at the gearbox forums.

Hey there,

Just to clarify, does this issue go away when you are playing with the Borderlands 2 DLC disc still inside the console? Try following the same steps you listed in your post, but see if it persists while the DLC disc is still inserted in your Xbox One console.

Additionally, have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the base game itself? If not, give that a shot as well! Keep us posted.
