just thinking about what other features they could bring to future borderlands games...

i'd like to see a new element, ice or wind maybe, for weapons and whatnot.

weapon building would be really fun, mix and match parts to create your ultimate weapon, and it'd boost the "gazillions of guns" tagline.

leaving pandora for one of the other numerous worlds that have vaults could breath new life into the world building, all we really know about the universe is evil corporations and a planet full of psychotic bandits.

just a few things i'd like to see, what do you want in borderlands 3?

:)

The first two were successful, so there definitely will be. But nothing has been announced it. And I can't really think of a wish list for this game. The last one was so great, I can't really think of anything I wanna take away or add to it.

i'm sure they'll bring back all the past npcs and probably add the bl2 pcs as npcs, and then add even more new characters...the borderlands will become a really crowded place. i loved tiny tina, but none of the npcs should become playable, it'd take them
away from being awesome support characters. i wonder if they might find a way to bring back handsome jack in some way, either through audio logs or a hologram or something, he was one of the best villains i've seen in a long time.

I love the idea of a new element for the weapons. However, I would also like to see all new vault hunters. In BL2, the only really new character was the Gunzerker (and the DLC characters). I would love 4 new characters all with brand new abilities. But Its
true, the original was so good, it will be hard to top!

10. Weapon customisation would not do the series any good at all and would vastly diminish the value of any weapons you found.

.

I personally would like for them to improve the gunplay. The more standard weapons are clunky and awkward to use, mainly due to the bullet velocity, which they frustratingly restrict to one character a game.

12. ... The main problem is the bullet velocity, which is too low. It feels similar to playing a game with a noticeable amount of input lag.

.

I also dislike how the game devolves from 'aim your hard-to-use weapon at the weak spots' to 'fire your 18-shot handgun 18 times a clip at the enemy and automatically hit the weak spots'. It simply feels quite pointless and the tedium of the gameplay weakens
the charm of the story and characters.

.

How do you find each weapon class in Borderlands 2, especially compared to Borderlands 1?
I guess it depends on who you ask. As far as I can see from my experience is not enough to be game breaking.

as heck couldn't hit the weak points on the witch doctors as my Sniper in Hammerlock's DLC.
How do you find each weapon class in Borderlands 2, especially compared to Borderlands 1?
You mean like...the type of guns? Like Shotguns, Snipers, Rifles? Not that I could tell you anyways seeing as I only played through
Borderlands 1 once and it was a long time ago.

15. OK.

.

Bullet velocity is the speed bullets travel at or the amount of distance covered by a bullet in any given time. Take a Rocket Launcher for example: the rocket travels quite slowly, at a low velocity, which means it's hard to aim precisely with, especially
at range. Can you imagine trying to hit an enemy's weak spot at range with a launcher? Probably not, which speaks for itself. For a bullet to act like a bullet it has to travel fairly quickly, which means that the delay between pulling the trigger and hitting
a target is minimal. In Call of Duty games, bullet don't actually have a travel time. They hit immediately (hitscan), which is unrealistic (especially at extreme range) but makes for very clean gameplay. In Halo 3, bullets weren't hitscan, they did have a
travel time, but it was low and meant you had to lead your shots to compensate for an enemy's strafe or aim in advance to hit moving targets at range. Bullet velocity is directly related to how much you've got to aim ahead of an enemy. After all, you've got
to aim quite far ahead of someone moving at a distance to hit them with rockets : )

.

In Borderlands 2, all projectiles or bullets have a very noticeable travel time --they travel very slowly-- which means you have to lead your shots if you intend to hit a small area. Try a Torgue Assault Rifle, the little explosive darts they fire are impossibly
slow and frustrating to aim. As I mentioned, Borderlands 2 is less about aiming and putting shots where they matter than it is about having a Shotgun, Pistol or SMG that fires a cluster of shots each shot to make it easier to hit an enemy. I find this extremely
frustrating as I mentioned as the gameplay quickly becomes 'Get close and spam at weak point' which I find very tedious.

.

Input lag is an issue for TVs (especially Smart, LCD TVs, but not by any means all of them) which is a delay between when an action is taken (you pressing A to jump) and the action being represented on the TV (your character jumping). You'll notice this
especially if you change TVs and go to play a game you're very familiar with as nothing at all will feel right about it. It represents no problem whatsoever for viewing an image but playing games... ouch. Having weapons with low bullet velocity is similar
as you constantly have to overcompensate for what you're used to.

.

Now, Borderlands 1 had lower bullet velocity than virtually all the other shooters I'm familiar with across the board but it was certainly something you get used to. I believe Borderlands 2 takes it far too far and quite frankly it takes all the fun out
of the game for me. You have to blast an enemy to death and let the damage of your weapon go against the health of your enemy somewhat independent of your skill as it's comparatively hard to actually do anything to significantly change the result of a battle.

.

You don't have to compensate for every little movement as you do in a Halo game, nor does your exact positioning matter like in a Call of Duty game. You literally just spray at your erratically-moving targets with a weapon you can't really rely on to hit
a weak spot until you get one of the many, many weapons you're supposed to end up using: the ones with multiple-shot effects.

.

I personally can't relate to or enjoy that at all and find it makes combat utterly tedious. It's the same every time: run up and spam something easy to use and boring at an enemy's general weak spot area, hoping to see 'Critical' show up. The contrast between
Borderlands 1 and 2 with regards to the velocity is drastic and a step in the wrong direction. Rifles are now utterly atrocious and unusable, SMGs are still desirable, shotguns have much lower velocity and greater pellet count and spread, handguns share the
change with shotguns and sniper rifles are oriented more towards elemental bonuses and higher overall damage potential --such as the burst snipes-- than a focus on criticals.

.

Each game they've restricted the ability to increase the velocity of your bullets/projectiles to certain characters (Siren, Borderlands 1; Assassin and Siren, Borderlands 2) so they know it's a desirable trait and I have no problem with making upgrading
it a skill for each character as long as EACH CHARACTER has a way to increase by the same extent. A better bullet velocity is important to any given gun-based playstyle. I enjoyed the first, once I played it cooperatively, but the second I just can't enjoy.
There isn't much about the second game that is outright bad: the DLC was great, the characters are excessive but still good and enemy design is pretty good but when you've got a core issue like this it taints everything.

.

I would like to see a third game but I'd better see some pretty damn quick bullets ; )
