borderlands 3 lost characters , game save badly loaded

hi! i was playing borderlands3 and due to a wrongly loading of the local save file, the cloud save file has been overwritten
i’ve lost 15 of the 17 characters and hundreds of hours in playing and collecting stuff... it’s a bug! the local file was not corrupted it was just badly loaded
i’ve twitted my issue
people at 2k support first told me to open a ticket for helping then they said they dont have a tool to reinstate my game save or a game recovery option
and just offer golden keys...

i need to reinstate my cloud saves to january 21th

is that possible? please

So, so sorry. I think that nothing can be done.

Once a game file has been overwritten/deleted it is gone for good. Nothing anyone can do.

Load your last autosave (current character) and then manually save right away before you re-create your lost character.

You should see an option "export character" when you load into borderlands. Your cloud saves goes whenever your account is signed on to. Are you using the same account?

Just managed to load my save (deleted everything to do with the game, other than my save and cleared the cache. My save will now load but I can get 2 or 3 minutes gameplay before it freezes.

Before deleting everything I tried to make a new character and I couldn't even get to the character selection screen.
