Borderlands 3 Freezing, Glitching and Froze Completely

Ok thanks for the info. Not sure how to achieve that but maybe I can find someone to free load off long enough to update it.

The issue was known at launch, since then there have been patches applied to correct this issue. I echo the sentiments above in that you'll want to get the game updated via an internet connection. I had this same issue on both the Xbox one s and x, with
the x over heating and shutting down. The subsequent patching has corrected the issue and I am now happily on my third play through.

I own it on Disk. I don't have access to internet so that is not an option. thanks for the help I will try that.

Hi there, you can try to clear the cache on your Xbox one.

1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox until it turns off completely.
2. Unplug the power brick from the back of the Xbox. Press and hold the power button on the Xbox several times to expel any remaining power and clear the cache.
3. Plug in the power brick.
4. Let another minute pass. If you're using an original Xbox One (as opposed to an Xbox One S or One X), watch for a small white light to appear on the Xbox One's power brick (the rectangular part of the power cord). Once the white light turns orange, you
   can turn your Xbox One back on. If you're using an Xbox One S or One X, just wait out the minute and turn it on afterwards.
