    Borderlands 2 -- unable to save progress


    Hey there. I've recently gotten back into he Borderlands series. I'm stoked that I can play it on my new XBox One, but every time I play through the campaign, I'm unable to save my progress. BL2 doesn't seem to recognize my XBox player profile while I'm
    playing.

    I've tried logging in at the title screen, but that didn't help. Tried logging in right when I was about to quit my game --no luck. I'm not trying to import any of my old saved files from my 360; just trying to start from scratch. So not sure if I need the
    cloud at all. I still have over 200GB of storage, so that ought not to be an issue.

    I'd really like to play this through the whole way. Can anyone help with this problem?

    Sorry to hear your profile is giving you troubles. Let's see if we can get this resolved.

    Alright, so you have already tried deleting your profile, and it tells you "that action cannot be performed at this time." From the sound of it, your Borderlands 2 game save is also corrupt, which could be why you are unable to delete your profile.

    Since you are unable to play it anyway, let's go ahead and delete your Borderland 2 game save. Once that corrupt save is gone, let's try deleting/redownloading your profile again.

    Let us know how that goes, and if you still encounter that error when you try to delete your profile.

    Hi there, I recently had the same problem with BL2 on my Xbox one as well. I tried all the same things you've listed above. however, had no resolve. I also unplugged/disconnected my Ethernet and Wi-Fi from my Xbox in an attempt to
    resync the cloud once the system restarted and I haven't had any issues since. Let me know if this works at all! if you've already resolved the issue then happy gaming, my friend!

    Halo Reach is working, Gears of war 3, and Judgment are working and so is Battlefield 3. That's progress. But, Lego: Star Wars and Borderlands 2 are still not connecting and without xbox live I cannot access my save files. Microsoft! Fix this you idiots!

    Borderlands 2 - Xbox One X - Saving game progress

    It is connected to the Internet.

    I was able to get it to work through a random actions. It made no sense, I had to reboot a few times. The two profiles that I did get to work did not have xbox360 profiles to begin with so I am not sure if that was an issue as well. One profile I did get added it did not save his progress so he had to start over again. I last my progress as well from when I initially played it on Xbox 360, I guess. You can't save multiple games with different characters.

    In short "compatibility" varies
