Borderlands 2 lost DLC's and XBox Live connection

So, I purchased Borderlands 2 Game of the Year a while ago, when I had an XBox 360, and then I purchased all the DLC's, and all was good. I decided to upgrade my console to an X Box One after I heard that 360 games were backwards compatible, and then all
was not good. My first problem was getting the add on disc to load, and eventually I did, but I seem to have lost all the other DLC's along with the characters. I don't want to have to buy them again. Was this designed that way? Like, Hey people, guess what?
Your 360 games can be played on the One, but you will have to purchase all your extras again, and not only that, you lose all your saved games, awards, and weapons. Sorry, but you have to earn all that stuff all over again. Then there is the connectivity issue,
once I start the game, it shows that I am connected to X Box Live, as I should be, then I press start, and it then says I am no longer connected to X Box Live. Why? I do not play multi-player games, just solo, but that doesn't matter, I cannot check on downloadable
extras, or invite a person, if I wanted to. It just won't allow me to connect. Is this an X Box One issue? A backwards compatibility issue? Were these issues known, and it was decided that it won't matter?

Borderlands 3

Include all dlc's and characters in the Borderlands 3 season pass. They've announced more dlc's for Borderlands 2 coming out soon, but they won't be included with the season pass. Tiny Tina's dlc was the final component in the season pass. I think that's
total BS imo.

 

Two XBOX Live Accounts with two separate gamertags and Borderlands 2 dlc

Hi there,

I have an old XBOX Live account with a gamertag that has a high-level character on Borderlands 2. I have a new XBOX live account with its own gamertag that I used to buy the DLC's for Borderlands 2, because that first XBOX Live account has parental restrictions
that cannot be removed because we can't access the parent account as the phone number tied to it for security does not exist anymore.

Is there any way I can get to play the DLC's with my old gamertag? The DLC's are tied to this new gamertag and I'm wondering if I follow these steps (Error 0x8015402d | Microsoft Account Error | Xbox 360 Error)
to switch my old gamertag to the new microsoft account that has bought the DLC's, if I would be able to redownload the DLC's or if they would instead transfer to the old microsoft account because that gamertag has the licenses to the content?

Does that make sense at all?
