    Borderlands 2 DLC GOTY disc not working on XBOX ONE


    whats happening? I own a digital copy of borderlands 2 + physical copy of GOTY edition. Just installer borderlands 2 on my XBOX ONE and then put the DLC GOTY disc and it downloaded all the DLC on my system. The problem is when i try to play the game is like
    i never purchased the DLC content

    GOTY, Expansion dlc.

    I currently have the original borderlands disc,not the GOTY version.

    Does anyone know if the DLC disc from the GOTY edition ,will work with the normal version once installed?

    Borderlands 2 GOTY

    I purchased borderlands 2 from Xbox live several months ago and downloaded all the expansion DLCs shorty after ,also downloading from Xbox live. Last weekend I purchased borderlands 2 GOTY hard disc from a store, so we could play on two different TVs.
    GOTY comes with two discs and you have to download the DLC disc to the xbox. But Xbox live only will let me play the extra content since I purchased it from xbox live in the past. Does anyone else have this problem.

    I am also having the same issue. I own the 360 version of Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition. My old 360 has the DLC, I have save files for every character type including the ones only available on DLC. I still have both disc's, but the DLC disc is completely
    unread and ignored by my Xbox One. I have cloud saved my saves from my 360, and now I have characters I can't play on my Xbox One because it doesn't have the DLC that I own. I have checked the Queue, they are not waiting to be downloaded. In game, when
    I select any DLC, it prompts me to the store to buy it again.

    I can not get the content of the second DVD (GOTY). I rather have to download.

    I think the Game is backwards compatible, but not the DLC.

    Could this be??

    Character Pack included in Star Wars Force Unleashed Ultimate Sith Edition?

    All the extra characters are included on both discs for use when playing. Disc one is just the game with all the character skins, disc 2 is all 3 expansions with the skins included for use. I later found this out while playing. You are unable to download
    any of the dlc to your system (unlike Fallout 3 GOTY or Borderlands GOTY dlc). Hope this helps.
