Borderlands 2 backwards

recently i installed my xb360 version of this game on my x1 and was pretty happy that it all worked without any issues. but than i reached a mission where i have to go to a specific area in the game that is bounded to a dlc. i have EVERY dlc for that game.
in the ingame dlc shop every dlc is signed as purchased and installed except Pirate´s Booty, that is shown as purchased, but not installed, but in "Manage Games and Apps"-tab everything is installed. i already contacted 2K support for this and we tried several
things but without any success. in the end they told me it must be an issue from microsofts side.

Hey there.

Borderlands 2 is not currently on the list of Backwards Compatible titles. Until that happens, your Xbox 360 version will not work on your Xbox One. You can voice your support for it being added to the list by going to

xbox.uservoice.com/.../8379849-borderlands-2 and voting for it.

In the mean time, if you'd like to play Borderlands 2 on the Xbox One, it's available as part of the Borderlands Handsome Collection - but yes, that would require an additional purchase. store.xbox.com/.../e964ec04-a2c3-492f-99eb-16e7f61b6869

Well, Borderlands 2 is not backwards compatible. So to play it on Xbox One you'd need the Handsome Edition of the game.

Hey there Pureiya,

Sorry to hear you are running into this issue with your backwards compatible game.

One thing that you can try would be to refresh your 360 account within the game to see if this will help.

To do this you will

Pull up the 360 Xbox Guide by clicking the 'view' and 'select' buttons together
Once the guide is up select 'Manage Storage'

Once in the storage area, you will look for your profile and remove it. Once the profile is removed you will restart your console and re launch the game. When you launch the game, go ahead and pull up the Xbox Guide again and make sure you are signed in.
Of course if it says to push X to sign out it means you are signed in.

Give this a try and let us know if anything has changed.
