Borderlands 2 and Pre Sequel Ruse by microsoft!!

So the other day I was in the Xbox one store and saw that Borderlands 2 and Borderlands Pre Sequel were both free games. I added them to my account and downloaded them both. Now a week later I've been trying to play them only to get a error message asking
me if I own them and sure enough everytime I go to the store it says play so I definitely own them now. But they still wouldn't work. So I contacted Xbox support via Twitter. They start telling me that there was a free weekend and point me to some major nelson
Blog post. I continue to tell him that I've never seen that and purchased from the store while they were free. At the time there was nothing mentioned about a free weekend only a free game. So my gripe is Microsoft screwed up and just took the games back.
It's not my fault they screwed up and I should receive the games for free since I bought them while they were free. My gripe is MS should either give the games free to those that downloaded it legally or publicly apologize for screwing up.

you have borderlands 1 and borderlands 2 on backwards compatibility but you took off pre sequel why would you want to go to space and jump around on with low gravity i would when you took off borderlands pre-sequel there are 10,243
