Borderlands 1 Games With Gold Issue

Hello.

Last year I got this game as part of the Games With Gold when it was offered and when I went to finally play it on my Xbox One (its been sitting there for a while), it tells me that I don't have the rights to play it? I have never come across this with any
other game and in my account it states that its not there. How is it possible to not be there when it downloaded to my Xbox?

I'm very confused. If anyone can shed some light, that would be fantastic.

Issue with Xbox Live Gold Game

I previously got a game for free from having Xbox gold. I got Borderlands 1. Not borderlands 2. I saw the e-mail and it said that the game offered was Borderlands 2 not 1 and it is no longer available. I spoke with someone at Microsoft support who told me
to indicate Ref. #[Mod Removed] . We decided that what happened was a glitch. I would really like to get this sorted and play Borderlands 2 not Borderlands 1. Thanks

Maybe you lose the license, contact to xbox chat Ponte en contacto con nosotros | Soporte técnico de Xbox and ask them to see if you have the license and what can you do to play the game.

As Borderlands 1&2 were Xbox 360 games offered via Games with Gold, they usually are yours to keep "forever", regardless of your Gold status.

So if the game doesn't show up under Ready to Install, make sure that you are actually signed in with the account that originally got the games back then as Games with Gold.

If you use(d) multiple accounts, use the account that "bought" the game for free during the Games with Gold offer during March 2016 for Borderlands, and March 2017 for Borderlands 2.

Doesn't matter you need to make the purchase and not from what you are thinkimg

For child accounts they cannot download m rated or nr games without parental permissions

The only way is to make the purchase from a 360 to verify that you have permission from the parent

A one console won't work since it is using the Web interface not the actual 360

"The purchase system on the Xbox One for 360 games is exactly the same as the website. Because it's going through the 360 Marketplace, 0" quote from support

Free games are considered ads and one permissions don't carry over to 360 even the other way around

I found a solution:

Searching for these games in the store on my xbox allowed me to reinstall them. I still wish they were visible in my ready to install list. I also found it strange that they did not appear to be owned when i searched the store on a mobile device (yes, i
was signed into my account at the time.)
