Borderlands 1 Games with Gold Disc Read Error

I've been having some problems with downloading this game. The first time I got it, the game froze and gave me a disc read error in the opening scene. After deleting it and attempting to redownload a handful of times I finally got it working, or so I thought.
I got through almost the entire game, only to get another disc read error every time I try to enter Eridian Promontory. I've deleted the game and tried redownloading well over a dozen times and it never works. The download itself seems to "finish"
at different percentages each time, which leads me to believe I'm not getting the complete file. I've had it trickle all the way to 97% once and then skip to 100% and get notification that it's downloaded only to find the same disc read error when I walk
to Eridian. After watching the file download so many times, it seems to get to around 77% and skip to 97% and then skip to 100%. Is there any fix to this or do I need to just find a physical copy of the game to finish the story?

Borderlands Disc Read Error

I can see that English is not your primary language. I apolagies in advanced if anything You or I post is mis-understood.

It seems your problem from what i can tell is you keep getting the error "Disk Cannot be read" on your digital copy of borderlands?

1. Delete your systems cache
   

1. Navigate to Settings on the Xbox Dashboard. Go to System>Storage> press Y on your Hard Drive Select clear system cache and do so. Than restart your console afterwards. See if you can now play the game.
   

• Delete Borderlands (don't worry you will still be able to recover the game later).
  1. To do so Click Xbox button on controller>Games & Apps > My Games > Click X button on Borderlands and hit Delete and than Restart your xbox. To Re-download the game navigate to settings on Xbox Dashboard > Account > Download History > Borderlands> Download
     Again.

Hopefully you wont be getting the error after that and your game is now playable. If you're still getting the error i would suggest contacting support and they will walk you through further processes to solving your issue if its still persisting.

Firstly clear the cache three times and turn the console off and back on and see if that works.

If not, go ahead and delete the game, clear your console's cache three times in succession, turn the Xbox off and back and re-download the game. This has a tendency to flush out this error.

The percentages skipping a lot towards the end is not entirely unusual behaviour, I've seen that happen myself too.
