Booters

About a year ago I blocked an old group of gamers whom i have known for a while prior. Recently they've contacted me with their smurf accounts. For those who don't know, smurf accounts are accounts created for the sole purpose of either messing around
in game with no regard of in game or console penalties. Anyways, these accounts are not straight up threatening the well being of my xbl account, since there is subtle lupeols in the agreement on what you can say without it being deemed threatening or violent.
In short the contents of the messages go along the lines of "Be careful. Somebodies about to get your IP" and "you deserve what's coming". Though it sounds like a warning, the person who sent me this has been holding a grudge against me for some personal
issues i was involved with between me and a third party. Though I have made no contact with any of the included members and had no plans to they continue to harass me and threat the sanctity of my private life. Today I was Ddos'd of my internet. These people
have made contact with me in Instagram where they continue to subtly threat and gloat about the actions they have took. I have photographic proof of these transactions via screen shots of the group chat and the Instagram story inflicting the booting. I know
the full name and gamer tags of 5 of the personnel involved, and only know the gamer tag of the actual booter. I still haven't made contact with any them, and yet they not only done this to me, but have started booting the people of my current online friend
group offline for just being remotely associated with me. If this continues, me and my friends will take legal action against these people since it is a federal crime to disrupt and disclose the privacy of our personal lives into the Cybernet. I came here
to share my story and hopefully get some certainty of safety of my, and my friends accounts. I would disclose the gamer tags on here of the people everyone should block and stay away from, but I don't know if I'm aloud. If there's anything i can do please
let me know. Stay safe people, and lets try to make console life a little more secure for everyone.
