  1. Booted from Ambassadors.

Recently found out that I've been booted from the Ambassadors program. While I understand I may have had a moment of bad judgment, the action to remove me from this program after years of unpaid service is too much.

People make mistakes, this is how humans learn. Punishing them for an eternity over something so trivial is a bad call from your team. I know you have thousands of unpaid employees at your disposal, but treating previous members in such ways makes me question
your own character. Even if I was to be offered a hand back into the program I'm not sure I'd even accept.

Also as a very active member of the insiders club, an alpha member, another do your job without getting paid, I'll be removing myself from that program and any other programs that benefit Microsoft while taking advantage of its customers and passionate gamers
while judging them harshly and unfairly on any mistakes while forgetting the years of service that they have contributed and money they have saved for Xbox by doing the jobs of testers.

I'm sure I've been removed as an enforcement member as well.

I've been an active member in the Xbox community for over 10 years. Helping, growing, and contributing.

The action taken against me on a SINGLE enforcement over a questionable system, is mind boggling to me.

Please become more human in your future endeavors, learn that people make mistakes, learn that you in yourself are not perfect, learn that your system is flawed, and the action you have taken over so many passionate gamers, ambassadors, is unfair, and machine
    like.

    Yours truly,

    Silent Hope

    :)

It's a program created years ago where users can become ambassadors. The program is designed so that ambassadors offer help and advice to other users. It has been pretty useless for the most part, Microsoft used to
just let anybody sign up regardless of whether they helped or not. Recently they've introduced a reward scheme for ambassadors as an incentive for them to help others, via the support forums (and some other methods). I'm not sure how you can currently
    sign up for the program.

    [/quote]

If you don't help you get booted from the program, you must also be active and you need to not be banned and you must follow some rules, so, please inform before writing these false inforamtions.

    Thanks

As an ambassador you are held to a higher standard than a normal gamer. One of the requirements is that you not have any enforcement actions on your account. It's not really that unfair.

The enforcement united program is not the same as being an enforcement member. That program has been shut down for well over a year though.

  5. Higher standards? More like unreasonable. Have you refrained from swearing on Xbox you're entire career? Highly unlikely. Also to say it really isn't unfair is just absolutely wrong. I know people who've gotten banned just because they're spammed with reports
for unsporting conduct etc. from salty players. The system is flawed. Perhaps a strike system within ambassadors would make more sense. Not one and tossed. Also I wasn't even allowed to fight my case due to it being a less than one day ban. Yeah, that's fair.

  6. I disagree. One and done is vastly unfair. Less than a one day coms ban shouldn't result in an ignorance of 10+ years of service to Xbox. ✌️

I refrain from swearing on a day to day basis, not just on Live, so it's super easy.

No one gets suspended for being spammed with reports. You can have a million complaints filed against you, but you won't get a suspension unless the enforcement team determine you've done something to violate the code of conduct. Ultimately it only takes
    1 valid complaint.

These are the rules you agreed to when you signed up.

I am failing to see why the two users replying to this post are taking a "holier than thou" approach and refuse to be understanding to this situation. Instead of trying to be helpful, I am reading passive-aggressive comments such as: "try again next year"
and "perhaps it is for the best that you are no longer an ambassador." These comments seem immature and ignorant to a fellow gamer. As per swearing, some people do it and some people don't. Just because someone uses language that is considered to be vulgar
does not make them a bad person or deserving of a ban or removal from a program. I am willing to bet a vast majority of gamers have sworn in their lifetimes whilst playing xbox and on other platforms. Additionally, considering one could be playing a mature
rated game which in of itself can contain more vulgar words or phrases coupled with intense violence and get a ban for swearing is ludicrous. I dont think the responses to a fellow gamer's gripe with the system are anything more than cookie cutter "sucks to
suck" or "you deserve it" responses. It is a shame that gamers must walk on eggshells in rated M games that just as vulgar as the gamers playing, if not more. Hopefully FoG Silent Hope can receive a more sincere and helpful reply than the "higher than you"
    responses thus far.

  9. Thanks for that. I was banned actually during play of an M rated game. I was playing Rainbow Six Siege a game I don't often play. Upon entering a match I was spammed with vulgar messages and was constantly being killed by my own team. I let some of my friends
know of the situation and was told promptly that Siege has become a toxic community. I wish I knew that beforehand.

  10. Hi FoG - no one in the forums can do anything with regards to the enforcement action on your account. Only an enforcement team can discuss the action.

As for your removal from the program, you need to take that up with the Misters and Misses that oversee the ambassadors. It's not something that should be discussed in a public forum.

Something users need to realize. entry to the ambassador program has gotten easier over the years, but the expectation of an ambassador is still the same - lead by example. Ambassadors are not "holier than thou" as Dorian26r notes in his post, but ambassadors
are expected to take the higher road.

For me, it means playing with my mic muted most of the time when in a game of unknown users and I start getting frustrated. Why, many ask...So I don't slip up and say something I might regret.

Be thankful the requirement to join the Ambassador program is to be enforcement free for one year. Earlier this year the requirement was zero enforcement actions ever on an account. The program leaders did learn users can make a mistake and went back to
    the older requirement.
