  1. Boosting in home streaming xbox app to xbox one

    Hello!

    I'm trying to boost my mbps for streaming from xbox one to my windows 10 pc. I have both my pc and xbox one connected through ethernet. My max mbps i get from streaming is around 17mbps, which is good, but I was trying to see if I could boost the mbps more,
    and see if that will give the stream a little more stability and clarity. Please let me know if you need additional information and thanks for the help!

    :)

  2. Xbox app streaming not (any longer) supports two controllers ?

    I am connecting two Xbox one wireless controllers through an Xbox Wireless Adapter to a Windows 10 PC, and always playing my Xbox one console games on Win 10 by streaming, and those all went right and smooth, until the recent updates.

    Now, with the latest updates of both the Xbox one console firmware ( 10.0.15063.3054/rs2_release_xbox_1705.170512-1759 ) and the Xbox App ( 29.29.17002.00000 ), only one ( the first working one when streaming starts ) controller is usable in streaming. No
    matter in the home page or in game, only one controller is recognized by the console.

    The two controllers are the original first gen Xbox one controllers (without 3.5mm jacks), both individually properly recognized by Windows 10 ( Win 10 Pro 1703/15063.296 ) and works well, even inside the Xbox app itself, except streaming.

    Any suggestions?

    Hey there,

    Our main advice to get the most out of your Xbox One streaming quality will be to use a wired internet connection for both your Xbox One console and your Windows 10 PC directly to your modem. Once you have that down, and you still notice some streaming issues
    occur, check out our

    xbox one to PC

    Just an HDMI cable or you can stream your Xbox one on the same network at home from the console to the PC via the companion app.

    having trouble streaming my xbox one x to my windows 10 laptop

    1. On Xbox One, select Settings and Preferences;

    2. Access Xbox App Connectivity;

    3. Check the Allow connections from any device boxes

    or Allowed only for profiles connected to this Xbox;

    4. On your computer, open the Xbox app;

    5. On the left side, select Connection;

    6. The app will search for consoles connected on the same network. Select your Xbox One;

    7. Click Stream to start streaming.

    8. Navigation will be done with a control already configured on the PC;

    9. To change the streaming resolution, enter Settings, Xbox One and Streaming Quality;

    10. Choose the one best suited to the speed of your home network.

    11. To start a game, select it normally.

    Netflix / HBOGO frame rate Issue as of latest system update.

    Ya, I've noticed the same thing on Netflix since the update -- and have since switched my Netflix watching to Apple TV.

    The article link below explains that they tried to juice up video streaming in the last update. Obviously, things went awry.

    OneCast app

    Hi there,

    according to the support page for that app one of the requirements is a Home network, as mentioned in this part "A home network (generally provided by a router etc), to which both your Mac and Xbox One are connected"

    So No, it's not possible to directly connect your console to your phone with that app and be able to stream to your phone.
