BOOM (November Update)

I dont like it i put the achivement from destiny where u fully upgrade a exotic weapon and you cant see the guardian behind all the tiles i want transparent tiles and also i wanna be ablt to move and resize the tiles but i also want themes like on the 360
where you go to the party section and you see knights and the chief standing there with ur friends avatars

 

Transparent tiles would be excellent. But overall it does bring some life to the dash.

 

I saw something about the transparent tiles on MN's site about 2 hours ago you could was it transfer photos from a camera to pc to usb to console and set it as your background just like you can on 360. I'm really looking forward to dash background change
which is an XBL Feature from 360, and bio's and locations brought back on your profile. Everyone shouldn't be too quick to dismiss that Microsoft won't add in Voice Messaging (another XBL Feature, better than just txt). But overall, it's good news. I'm not
part of this Preview Program thingy so will see it implemented when it officially comes out for everyone in November, yay.

 

Akame, the motto isn't the same as the bio. For example, on the 360, my motto would say something cool, like "GG, from GG" or "No cheating, please" whereas my bio would explain that I was an XBL Community Ambassador, what games I liked to play, and the kinds
of people I liked to play with.

Sure there are people that would mess around with both, but there were a lot of people who actually used them for what they were meant for. Only having the bio now blurs those lines even further (although I'll probably be okay if they don't bring back the
motto).

Transparent tiles, while being a nice option, i can't help but picture it not really helping. You'd see the faded outline of the tile, whatever you have in the background, and have a hard time reading what the tiles say. I think it would be bad for the eyes
overall.

 

Transparent tiles would be fine. Actually, I remember making a comment about tile transparency and how it would make themes easier to see, quite awhile back, regarding the 360 dashboard.

The 360 dashboard showed just a little bit of the tiles for the next 'tab' on the left or right of the screen. Those tiles had transparency... if I had to guess, I'd say about 50%. They looked fine and even though there wasn't much of them showing, it was
easy to see them as well as the fact that they were transparent.

I was wondering, would we be able to use the Xbox One IE to download images to use as a background?

 

I have 8.1 on my Nokia Lumia Icon with transparent tiles; if they are easy to read on a 5" screen...

What're you going on about? Party chat works just fine for me.

 

Party Chat, em still prefer the 360's layout. But even I acknowledge that Xbox 1 is a big improvement from what it was like when it launched (when it had so many missing XBL Features, no battery indicator, no external HDD support, no Dolby support, friends
management was kind of poor, no USB video/picture support, couldn't access the console's HDD) Most of these have been addressed and they're adding in 2 of my important features (change Dash background, and bio/location returning to your profile) in November.
Remember when was it the October Update I think it was, actually got released prematurely in September. It'll be funny if the November Update came out this month. Who wouldn't want the things from the November Update out now for everyone, change the Dash background
like 360 and bio/location on profiles returning.
