There is a noticeable difference going from a D.V.D. player that doesn't up-convert to one that does (24" T.V.). Last year when my girlfriend finally got rid of her 27" C.R.T. and went to a 32" L.E.D. L.C.D., I noticed her 360 looked terrible compared to
mine on the same T.V.. Problem solved by a H.D.M.I. cable. I also have a V.H.S/D.V.D. combo in one of my rooms...looks atrocious on a high-def T.V. (720p); yet I still watch some old tapes on it.

On topic...As long as the X Box One gives me some good games that look better than the 360...I'm happy. If it was all about the graphics I, and am sure many others, would just play on a P.C..

Ur comparing apple to oranges here, pc and console. I for once don't like to game on pc that does not mean i can't expect certain performance level from my console.

I don't understand this constant argument from many ppl.

 

The argument is this...The X Box One has already been released and the specs are known and are not going to change.

Can we expect better graphics as the system ages and developers learn more about it? Sure. Is it going to get astronomically better? Probably not.

So you can "expect" all you like about the "performance level" from your console, though...it is what it is.

So in closing; accept the X Box One for what it is...or upgrade/buy a P.C..

thing is u see its im short sighted in my left eye (had to ear a patch on my right eye to strenghten my left eye but got picked on at school so never wore it) and i sit on the floor about 4 maybe 5 feet from the tv and my tv is 46 inches. I dunno why i sit
close i just always have. If i sit on the sofa when playing cod then i might aswell wear a blind fold as i cant kill anything. and iv never been able to tell the dif. if websites like eurogamer/digital foundry and IGN didnt post what the games res and fps
was then no one would tell the dif. look at the 360 and ps3 games ran better on the 360 yet no one cared or blinds a eye

 

^^ I agree to a certain extent. I have a 65 inch led 3d, when resolution changes it is visible.

That being said, the developer was very blunt and this is new, no one was that blunt and outspoken against MS. moreover saying that he'd rather play the game on a minimum spec PC over X1 this is pretty harsh

 

we can play these res arguments all we want... best selling video game all time.. or really close to it..

to hellnbak, how importamt are pixels is really smth relative and i can't answer that but i can put things into perspective.

So lets say u have a game at 900p upscaled to a full screen 1080p, if u turn off the upscaler and without streching the image ur picture will actually become 60% of ur tv, so ull be playing the game in a small box on ur tv screen.

Putting thing into perspective 1080 vs 900 thats actually a lot! Its a 40% reduction in ur picture size (upscaler off).

How important, again its relative but how much different its actually a lot!
