Discus and support boderlands 2 the handsome collection in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; this game will be sold only in digital media? will not be sold hows other games physical media ?     You can find a list of backwards compatible games here
    www.xbox.com/.../available-games    .

    As eviltedi said,they are adding games to that list on a regular basis.

    The 2 games you mentioned both have Xbox One versions which is why they are not backwards compatible.

    Boderlands 2 is part of The Handsome Jack Collection which also contains the 3rd game.

    I've recently started to play Borderlands 2 on the Xbox 1 again, and have a buddy who got the Handsome Collection. I'm unable to invite him to a game lobby, and whenever he invites me, it takes me to the Xbox Store to purchase the Handsome Collection. It
    says that I have not purchased the game, even though I have put in many hours through backwards compatibility (I only have Borderlands 2, and not the Handsome Collection). Do we both have to be on the Handsome Collection to be able to connect?

    This game is also sold as a physical disc. However, that maybe depends on your region - in the US and the UK, for instance, The Handsome Collection can be bought on disc.

    hmm... because i like physical disc and i not found here in Brazil this game, only live boderlands 2 the handsome collection :(
