BO3 - Upgrading from Xbox 1 to Series S

Hi all,

I currently have an Xbox 1 that I have had for several years now, and I am looking to upgrade to a series S. There are only a couple of games that I have on disk, that I would still like to play on the Series S. BO3 is one of them. I have Zombies Chronicles and the Season Pass, but they require the disk to run and the game isn't sold separately digitally. Will I just need to buy them all again digitally to play on the series S or is there a way around this?

I understand that, but it isn't sold digitally unless you buy it all (game, zombies Chronicles, and season pass). I already own 2 of them but game isnt sold separately. Do I need to buy the whole package again?

You would need to own them digitally to play on the Series S.

Since it's not available individually, you would have to buy the whole package.

Unfortunately not, you can only upgrade from the Xbox One console to the series X or series S.

Update: my bo3 works for my Xbox one but not my series s which I don’t understand. It seemed to work after I was prompted to recover my last synced data. I tried to replicate this for my series s but to no avail.
