BO2 Freezes after I download an update

The game runs fine, it is just after downloading an update. I will complete the update and then it will never reconnect me and attempting to dashboard or connect manually will result in my console freezing. Does anyone know what causes this, and if so how
do I fix it. Also does this mean something may be wrong with my console itself? Thanks in advance

Black Ops 2 - Frozen black screen on start up.

This morning I went to play BO2 and was prompted to download an update. After the update was downloaded I have found that my Xbox freezes with a black screen as soon as the game is started. Therefore, making all aspects unplayable.

I have followed the steps such as clearing cache, removing hard drive and re-positioning with no sign of improvement (Although it does run without the hard drive in you cant play on Live without it)

Any solution to this would be welcome unless it involves a new game/xbox.

Clearly frustrating after just forking out for it.

Constant Game Freezing

In BO2 every 5 minutes I get a freeze.... -_-

 

Ghost does it too, Xbox updates do it often, like it gets stuck trying to reboot itself....... just needs a helping push of a button.

 

So this is normal? I was concerned because only BO2 does it.

 

GTAV has done it to me, seems normal on bigger games with lots of updates.
