Blurry Lines Windows Game Recording

okay so I was so excited to be able to capture my gameplay 4th using the built in software Xbox has provided to windows.

But everytime I record my gameplay and then go to edit it for YouTube.. There are these thick blurry lines and my audio isn't up to speed with the movement of the video. How do I fix that?

Apologies for posting this 3 years later but I am also having this issue. I've searched across a few places and have yet to find a working solution. Tinkered a bit with the settings and nothing worked. I wanted to record some games on my PC but the blurry
spots in playback ruin it.

Blurry lines in game DVR recording.

Recently I have switched from windows 7 to windows 10 and I disovered the xbox app with Game DVR.

The program works fine the recording goes well but the playback after recording has blurry lines moving from the bottom of the screen slowly going upwards. The lines only appear after about 2-3 minutes into the recording and don't show up in every video,(I
think it is an 80% chance to happen for me) I am using a AMD Radeon HD7700 Series Graphics card maybe this could be the problem ?

Same thing here. It worked great for the first week after I installed, but now every recording has pixelated horizontal lines all the way through the video. I've tried adjusting every setting on the DVR and in my game. All of my drivers are up to date as
well. It's very frustrating and appears to be a common issue. Please fix this MS!

If you say you have blue lines or blurry green and blue places, there is a high probability that the cable is defective, or the contacts on the HDMI ports are corroded or damaged.

Can you try the console with a different cable, or can you try a different HDMI monitor?

If you get the same lines and blurry parts on a different monitor with a different cable, it might be that the hardware on the Xbox is defective.

If all is well on a different TV, try a different cable and see if that works. If a different cable gives you a good picture on another TV and blurry lines on the Hisense, then it's the Hisense with the defect.

I was always a console player. I have to say the line is getting blurry though. Could you separate a room or exclusive option for mutiplayer games for those who want to play console vs console and pc vs pc
