    Yesterday I posted the following and had some useful replies:

    Part-way through using my Xbox One S today I now get a taking-too-long to start error on all tested apps: Blu-ray player; Fortnite; Minecraft

    Logging in to all user accounts is fine but the problem exists on all accounts.

    There are no currently-reported server problems

    Suggested fixes do not seem to resolve this:

    1. Quitting and reststarting the apps

    2. Restarting the console (full power off for a few minutes)

    Any suggestions?

    One of the replies suggested doing a soft reset of the console which I have not done as yet as the problem seemed to resolve itself overnight. It has no recurred however and there appears to be a connection with the BluRay Player app, as follows:

    1. Console starts, Sign-in to profiles is OK

    2. Games seem to work (Fortnite & Minecraft). Minecraft requires the DVD reader so that hardware seems to work ok

    3. If a DVD is inserted the BluRay player does not start (Taking too long to start error 0x8027025a)

    4. Subsequently trying to start a game (Fortnite) results in the same error, even though it was working before

    5. Restarting the console seems to let Sign-in and games work again

    6. Trying to start the BluRay app on its own (without a DVD in) also causes the same issue

    Any suggestions? I think I have tried uninstalling the BluRay player app and reinstalling it (under one use profile), but that did not seem to have an effect. If this is a suggestion then please give step-by-step instructions for the uninstall to ensure
    I actually did so.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand you are having issues with taking to long to start on apps and games. We recommend a

    soft factory reset    . When you go to the reset, select keep my games and apps. There may be some corrupt files that are causing the issue.

    Try this and let us know.

    Just bought XBOX One X. and getting 0x80a40019.

    The factory reset does not seem to resolve this issue. Exact same error codes appear when going through the system setup. First failure occurs when attempting to add an account, error code 0x80a40019, next error occurs at the end of the initial setup after
    confirming the resolution setting, error code 0x8027025a. Upon dismissing these error messages and reaching the home screen, accounts still cannot be added due to the same 0x80a40019 error code.
