    Bluray player app plays back at double speed and gets stuttering problem


    Hi

    Done some testing with videos I made 1920x1080i.

    Burned a AVCHD DVD with a short video at 25 fps.

    Playing this dvd with Bluray app is double speed and consequently gets stuttering problem with video and audio.

    Just my own conclusion that app tries to read faster than it needs, and thereby gets stutter.

    Putting same M2TS file from DVD to a thumb drive and use MediaPlayer app - it plays perfectly, correct speed and all.

    Anybody did this kind of thing?

    I got the update just the other day for bluray app.

    lip sink issues, and stuttering

    Having same issues as everyone else, blueray and dvd. The lip sync issue I fixed by pulling disk out and back in, but it has stuttering issues too, and fuzz around there heads. I put my sont blueray player back in living room, sure hope they figure it
    out!!

    Xbox One Bluray App Having Issues Playing DVD

    Update: I've now tried playing a Bluray and midway through the movie, and had issues with that as well. The picture became jumbled and after the app seemed to struggle a bit, it brought me back to the home screen. I've tried multiple times and the app closes
    at a similar spot. The disc plays fine in my other 3 bluray players.

    Same problem with mine. I have the LG B7P set as well, with a Pioneer Elite VSX90 receiver. I have tried connecting equipment through the a/v receiver, and also directly into the tv with audio ARC passthrough back to the a/v receiver. Either way, If I
    select Dolby Atmos in the Xbox menu, I get no sound at all - both with games like Assassin's Creed Origins (which is a Dolby Atoms game), and with 4K Bluray discs. In addition, with Bluray, even if I switch the Xbox back to its DTS mode, sometimes it will
    throughput DTS, but sometimes I can't get anything more than stereo. Another problem with Bluray is that some discs will not play at all, and some will play sound but only display a freeze frame picture. In summary, two problems: the Bluray Player App is
    clearly defective, and the Dolby Atmos does not work.

    I agree a lot of the issue's aren't related to the bluray discs, it's the firmware on the bluray drive or the app that needs patching, I had something different happen though, my issues was with X-Men: The Last Stand on bluray, it just give me the error
    message saying the firmware needs updating on the bluray player in order to play the disc, I put it in my ps4 and it worked first time, tried it with two other bluray players and they all played it flawlessly.

    So there must be a lot of firmware/patches required for the drive for certain blurays. I'm sure they will find out what the problem is and hopefully patch the app or address the issues in the next firmware update

    On a receipt for an Xbox One there was a disclaimer stating a 'internet speed upgrade' may be required.So your 3 meg speed and $500 may get you the worlds biggest bluray player.
