Bluray playback problem

    Bluray playback problem


    hope someone can help on this, been playing blurays and DVDs no problem until today when this came up. Any suggestions on getting hut to play?

    I've tried changing power settings, restarting, fresh install, changed HDMI leads, switched HDMI sockets and it just will not play discs. Games and Netflix are fine

    after april update bluray still stutters

    Hi xBoxKaitain,

    Try changing the bluray playback by

    Navigating to Settings > Disc & Bluray

    Change the playback to 50Hz

    Hopefully this should improve your playback.

    XB1 drive does not play blue-ray

    That's how I got DVD playback working. But still no blueray playback

    Fix the Blu-Ray player App., please, MS

    It's my hopes that since the BluRay playback is its own app that it can be updated quickly and independent of OS updates, so I see the app thing as being a good thing, but i do agree that we shouldn't be having this problem, not sure how BluRay playback
    wasn't something that just worked.

    Hi xBoxKaitain,

    Try changing the bluray playback by

    Navigating to Settings > Disc & Bluray

    Change the playback to 50Hz

    Hopefully this should improve your playback.

    Choppy 3D Blu-ray playback

    The Hobbit 3D also had playback issues with choppy playback. Plus when I unticked the 24hz box in the bluray app settings I lost 3D playback and it went back to 2D.

    4K UHD Blu-ray problems - picture stuttering

    Spent 2 and a half hours after this last update ruined everything.

    Fix for me:

    Uninstall/reinstall BluRay App

    Set playback to stereo (Temporarily)

    Disable 24hz, Disable 50hz, Enable HDR, Disable Amp controlling playback (under bluray)

    - Shutdown xbox

    - Power on xbox

    - start playing any Bluray/UHD BluRay.

    - Aslong as this works, start turning on features again

    - Rewind UHD to begining, set your surround sound/atmos/amp decode audio.

    360 doesnt support any kinda media playback right now besides video saved on skydrive and dvd/bluray movies.
