    BluRay Disk Lost Inside Xbox


    My daughter put a BluRay into the Xbox while a game was already inside. The game comes out without issue but the BluRay is nowhere to be seen. I can insert a game in and it seems to play without any issue or noise. I have tried the paperclip trick to manually
    eject a disk and that only works if a game is already inside. The BluRay seems to be lost. The Xbox isn't recognizing any additional discs. Any ideas of what to try?

    Xbox One S Dolby Atmos Support

    I am on Insider Preview 4 and the passthrough feature is enabled but only for the Bluray Player and not for .mkv played from Plex as exemple.

    When i play Bluray disk with Dolby True HD, i see on my AV receiver Dolby True HD.

    If i play the same ripped Blueray, i only see PCM (7.1 uncompressed option)

    I hope that MS will update soon because i have bought Xbox specialy for the media center.

    xbox one disk drive not working after june update

    after getting the june update the bluray drive in my xbox one gives error code (0x80820002) to all bluray movies and xbox one disks. the only type of disk it will read is dvds, and I have gotten it to play both game disks and bluray movies by running a dvd
    for a few seconds before trying them. is there a fix for this or is it just the drive failing?

    I truly don't believe there is a disc inside the drive at least not in the area where the disc is inserted. If there was it is extremely doubtful that the drive would even accept another disc much less play it without issue.

    I would suggest further investigation on this issue. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

    Not sure why you would say it will not play burned disks, it plays dvd-r's without problems, I just no longer use them with the Bluray having better image quality. No one I know uses the low quality pirated films, they are made too poorly, certainly never on Bluray, just cheaply made DVD-R's all of the time,the xbox would have no issue there, just Bluray disks.

    They don't need to be installed unless you have the digital ones

    Disks you just pop in and select it from the first screen just like xbox one or bluray Disks

    Ultra hd player or app problems.

    Same issue. BRAND NEW XBox One X, right out of the box. Setup no problem. Installed the BluRay App. Won't play ANY Blu Ray disks. Just get either a frozen spinning wheel of death at the BluRay logo screen, or the perpetual spinning wheel of death at
    the logo screen. Never advances to the actual disk.

    Please fix!!!!
