Bluray - Alien boxset

So far I have watched the first 3 disks of my 5 movie boxset, and 2 out of 3 have issues: Alien half way through when they first start searching for the alien has massive picture breakup, Aliens in chapter 23 just freezes and you have to skip to chapter
24.

Is anyone else having playback issues or are my disks damaged?

OMG! I love my Xbox One so much right now

Predator will no doubt get a 4k release but it won't be remastered. I could be wrong but I'm sure the Predator Bluray is one of the worst DVD > Bluray transfers for a blockbuster! No doubt LucasArts will fully remaster the SW films as best they can like
they did on Bluray but the majority of films pre 4k technology will just be repackaged and could look slightly better. I think people may see what they think others want them to see visually, a bit like the emporers clothes syndrome. Put it this way, let's
use Dirty Harry as an example. I have the Bluray boxset and you know it's a 70's film, that film on 4k ain't gonna look any different and certainly won't look as good as a 2016 film.

Blu Ray Player will not read movies

Same here. Had a black screen first, but then I got the message that this BluRay (Prometheus to Alien 5-Disc-Set) requires an update?

Hard reboot didn't help at all. Any idea?

Hello Annie,

I was having the same issue on my discs as well and what worked for me is I turned off my low game latency setting on my tv and that did the trick hope this works for you as well.

Not sure how a setting on the TV will stop the disc from freezing. Anyhow I have tried with all the TVs fancy gizmos turned on and off.

The same thing happens to me as well. The Xbox One blu ray seems to play other movie disks but doesn't like my Star Wars Saga boxset, but the boxset plays well on my PS3. What gives?
