    3D Blu-ray?

    Sorry, but nowhere on that google search does it confirm that the system will play 3d bluray. There is confirmation it has a bluray drive and there is confirmation it will support 3d but this may only mean 3d games as supported by the xbox 360.

    Currently a dedicated 3d bluray player (or a ps3) is required to play 3d films, you cannot do it with any old bluray drive, so whilst I would be highly surprised if it does not play them, there still has not been confirmation of this.

    Supporting 3d does not necessarily mean it will play 3d bluray, it might just mean it supports 3d games in the same way the 360 does now. I too would like to know the answer to this so I know whether I can get rid of my 3d bluray player.

    You need an HDTV which supports Blu-ray 3D?.... . Xbox 1S and Xbox Scorpio, will have 4k Blu-ray disc player.

    The hardware can support 3D. The Blu-ray software has to support 3D for 3D playback to function. If it doesn't at launch they can always add the function later on.
