    So I just got my xbox wireless windows 10 adapter and I plugged it into my xbox one to connect my galaxy buds because I know it's possible but it's like the pairing mode will not connect to my xbox
    one and they are not connected to any other device. Also my adapter works fine on my windows 10 laptop but not my xbox one it will not show a light or sync. Also I'm still on a insider os when I close my account and Uninstalled insider app and reset my xbox
    one twice.

    The Xbox One Wireless controller with Bluetooth can be connected to a Windows 10 PC with a USB cable, Bluetooth, or with the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10, so yes, it can be connected via the adapter. The Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 is not
    compatible with an Xbox 360 controller and will need the Xbox 360 Wireless Gaming Receiver for Windows. I'll provide the support articles with this information:

    I dont want to upgrade to Windows 10. and you cant force me. but i still need to use the series X controller i just got on windows 8.1

    Bluetooth for Xbox controllers it's not available on windows 8.1, for that you need to get the Xbox wireless adapter

    do you have the wireless xbox adapter for pc plugged in (needed for wireless connection), or are you using bluetooth on the pc (needed for bluetooth connection to the controller).

    the following three ways to connect the controller:

    1. USB C cable

    2. Bluetooth

    3. Wirelessly using the xbox wireless adapter for windows 10 (about 24.99 from retailers)
