Hi and thanks for reaching Microsoft Xbox gamer's community. My name is Josef.
I'm an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft Xbox user like you.

Hope you're doing great today despite this Moutnman

Is this happening when you connect both devices at the same time?

You have the turtle beach 600 headset connected wired or wirelessy?

And, please tell me which troubleshooting steps you have done so far besides updating the firmware on all your devices to fix this.
In that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

I'll be waiting for your reply, greetings

how to connect wireless headset to xbox?

There are many independent companies like Turtle Beach now making Xbox native headsets

Sony will be the last company to make one

Bluetooth headsets are not compatible, only Xbox specific headsets. If it has 3.5” Jack on it you can connect that to the one on the controller

Wireless headset for use with Xbox One X AND smart TV

Take a look at the Turtle beach Stealth 700. It connect wireless to the console just like your controller and it has bluetooth so you can use with any bluetooth device like your phone, laptop or TV with Bluetooth. I use the Turtle Beach 800X with uses
a transmitter base to connect with the Xbox but it's bluetooth too
