    Bluetooth Interference

I have an LG 3530A sound bar with a wireless subwoofer and bluetooth support. Ever since I got my xbox one, I have had intermittent connectivity issues between the soundbar and the subwoofer as well as other bluetooth devices. The sub and/or bluetooth devices
will cut in and out randomly, approximately 15-20 times per hour. I originally thought the problem was the soundbar, until I disconnected my xbox and took it to another house. While the xbox was gone, the soundbar issues COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED. A few days
later, the xbox returned, and so did the bluetooth problems. I can only remedy the issue by completely powering off the xbox. I figured it might be a problem with kinect, but even when that is unplugged I still have the issue until I power off the entire console.

I am streaming the audio from my phone (directly connected to the soundbar via bluetooth), which is usually in the same room, approximately 5-15 ft from the entertainment center. However, even when I am not streaming from a different device, I still have
the same connectivity issues with the soundbar's wireless subwoofer. So, for instance, when I am watching tv or playing games (xbox obviously being powered on), the subwoofer will cut in and out with the same frequency as when streaming bluetooth music.

The console has always been connected via wired LAN, which is why I never suspected the Xbox to even be part of the issue until now. Once I realized the xbox was related, I experimented with both wired and wireless, as well as no network at all. The problem
was not affected. I have also had the power supply replaced, and that did not fix the problem.

Given that the issue occurs consistently every 3-5 minutes or so, I would say there is some kind of wireless beacon being transmitted regularly by the console that is causing this interference, either Wi-Fi or some other bullcrap MS proprietary wireless
protocol. I don't understand how this is not in violation of FCC regulations, and how this product could have possibly been released in this state. (This was previously posted to one of the early access forums without resolution).

    :)

    Bluetooth Problems

It can be the Upstream on internet connection being slowed while playing online & affecting returned voice from OP's headset... VOIP has that problem...

It can also be Bluetooth interference, from mobile phones or other Bluetooth devices too... Bluetooth, still has two data streams & the headsets return signal, might be weak from interference etc..

    Set ups

Don't enclose it too much, or you will overheat your equipment & can also cause electro-magnetic interference, with Console, WiFi or Bluetooth etc..

    Bluetooth Interference

Is this happening in instant on mode or also if in normal stand by? As bluetooth is working in the 2,4 GHz band and also does the xbox one controller it may be an interference between the controller and your soundbar. Be sure it is not an violation of the
FCC as the 2,4 GHz is regulated but not bluetooth exclusive.

It happens in both instant-on and energy saving mode. That is also something that I tested. It also happens whether any controller is connected or not, which is why I think it is a regular beacon being sent by the console any time it is powered on.

  6. Most wireless devices (Xbox controllers, Bluetooth, wireless routers, Wireless headsets, PS3/4 controllers, etc) run at the 2.4 GHz range. Microwaves do as well. There is always the chance to have interference from the devices and that seems to be exactly
what is happening. Try relocating the devices and that may help some, but there is no guarantee.

Yea, this is an absolutely unacceptable answer. I have numerous other wireless devices in my home (a PC, three laptops, several tablets, several mobile phones, a wireless access point, two chromecasts, other game consoles, not to mention other household
products such as a microwave) and NONE of them cause interference with each other or with my speakers. The fact that the xbox is causing this problem is mind-blowing given the expense of the device and it's relative complexity, and the fact that NOBODY from
MS is here to offer a solution is disgusting.

first of all the instant-on option shouldn´t even exist. its pure energy wasting...

to get to the topic, i have the exact same problem with the soundbar disconnecting randomly to the lg subwoofer.

i connected the soundbar via optic cable and the problem started just recently

i try´d everything, my xbox is always powered off and im using lan cable offcourse. just like you said, the xbox
is the problem, because the soundbar works perfectly once the xbox turned off.

sometimes it works flawlessly. what i did is turned the wlan router channel from "auto channel" to channel 7 (or whatever channel is best for you) then you power on the soundbar and wait a few seconds till its connected to the woofer.

after that, power on your xbox and watch your "lg soundbar display". while the xbox is in boot process it shouldn´t loose the connection between your soundbar and the woofer. if so, then its not going to work.

if you solved the issue permantly, give me please a heads up. i know the thread is old by now but the problem still exists out there...
