    Bluetooth Audio


    I have a monitor connected to my Xbox Series X and while the manual says the monitor has built in speakers I can't get them to actually work so I can't get any sound unless I have a headset plugged in so I was thinking of getting a USB bluetooth transmitter and connecting my bluetooth speaker to my Xbox, would that work?

    your bluetooth headset with mic is designed for audio and talking via bluetooth, the cable that you can plug into your headset and then to the controller only enables audio not mic. lots of bluetooth headsets and headphones are the same, the option to plug in a cable is for audio only.

    bluetooth connection yes to connect to bluetooth, but they DO NOT support audio over bluetooth. this has been like this since the S controllers came out.

    to have audio transmitted you would need the wireless adapter that is available for pc.

    the Xbox does not even have Bluetooth built into the system, besides you get lots of audio latency via Bluetooth audio which is horrid, and my ps4 never sounded right over Bluetooth.

    most screens you connect the Xbox too have an audio jack and most likely a usb port for power, just attach the speaker to the screen.

    The quality of Bluetooth audio would likely be dependent on what version of Bluetooth is in the adapter on your computer. The older versions are more compressed

    If you right click on audio options in the taskbar you should be able to select your audio output source
