Bluescreen while playing Minecraft 1.16.5 modded

We understand the inconvenience caused. As per description, you will get blue screen while playing Minecraft with Fabric mods. You tried some fixes but still the problem persists. Let us check on this together and sort this out to assist your concern.

Allow us to ask few questions about it.

1. Is this also happening on other games or Minecraft only?
   
2. Does device have proper ventilation?
   
3. When did the problem started?
   
4. Are there changes made that might cause the problem?
   
   
   

We have research regarding the issue.

Minecraft is far more CPU and even GPU intensive than most other games. Could be heat-related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps. Does it just act like it loses power or does it shut down in a normal manner? Heat-related does not always mean too much heat as it is very possible that a single resistor, capacitor, transistor, or etc. is just too sensitive to even normal levels of heat.

Possible solution that may prevent the issue. Remove ALL power and re-seat all cards, memory, and cables (both ends when possible) - actually remove and replace - do not just snug. Remove the dust bunnies and clean the vents. Check that the fans work (before and after opening the case). If a laptop about all you can do is re-seat the memory and clean the vents (still can try adding a small fan as a test).

This may sound like a hardware issue, so if the above does not help then you probably need the help of a real computer shop (one that does its own in-shop service) or the System Maker's Support.

when I'm playing Minecraft through the normal Minecraft launcher it works but if I try on cursedforge it doesn't with and without mods (unless it's 1.16.5)

Sorry to hear it. This may be due to the mods that you've installed to your PC. Especially if you got them from an unofficial source.

Another option you could try is to download the Insiders app to a different PC, log in with your account and leave the program. Beyond that it may have just been coincidence

This is probably due to the game needing an update. 1.16.5 is an outdated version of Minecraft, so you should check to see if a update is needed.
