    Blueray and other apps won't update/install/uninstall.


    I've been having problems with the blueray app since day one. Won't read some bluerays, some dvds. Sometimes it won't read any video discs. No issue with games so far. I've tried hard booting and couldn't even get the app to uninstall at first. Then recently
    after finally getting it to install, it won't completely update. And I'm now having problems getting other apps to download at all. Showtime anytime, HBO GO, etc. They just set in que, not downloading. Any help would be appreciated.

    Installation problem

    you can try deleting permanent storage: settings, all settings, discs and bluray, bluray, permanent storage, clear.

    Later install/uninstall bluray app.

    Powercycle console and try again.

    If issue persist, test disc on other console, if continues game disc is damaged (need to get another disc) but if other consoles install game then your disc drive need repair your console.

    Blu-Ray Error Code 0002 "Needs Update"

    Are you connected to the internet? When you start the bluray app, if you are connected to the internet and signed in to Live), it should tell you an app update is available. I got a bray app update this morning when I tried a bluray.

    If that doesn't prompt you to update, then I'd uninstall the bluray app, reboot the machine and then install the bluray app again.

    Sometimes if games or apps won't update like that, I will just uninstall them completely and them reinstall them. This will install them with the new update included.

    I've run windows update, i've checked both windows store and xbox app for updates, i've tried uninstalling, repairing and resetting the app. Nothing has worked. If i uninstall and reinstall - my installed games will load in the menu, but when i check for install location nothing is there and it won't let me select it. If i go out of the app and go back in it then goes back to the previous issue.

    so now there's an update that won't download, it just stops and gives a new error code 0x80073cf3. When you look this one up it says to uninstall so you can install the update but the problem is is there is no store app.
