Blue select rectangle not working properly

Blue Select Rectangle Not Working Properly I've been having an issue on the main screen, the blue select rectangle doesn't always go where it should...Its hard to explain, but say I am scrolling down to select the 4th option, the blue select border will
scroll down but not on the options, it glitches and will select the middle of two boxes, or just go to a different part of the screen entirely. Also, when I'm watching a blu ray, there will be a blue border, so I go into the menu to get the blue border off
the screen and then I press B to get out of the menu a blue border will stay on the screen over whatever I was last about to select. It's very odd, any help would be appreciated. I hope I've explained it enough, it's difficult to explain.Blue

Dashboard pointer (Highlight) selector nav box broke Xbox One S

The box to highlight select tile to open Menu or launch app or game or setting section turned blue then started breaking or select area was not the tile shape it was rectangle wide Or height sized and not working right only seen it once on My Xbox One

Go in to settings and select blu-ray. There should be and options in there to adjust how the blu-ray discs are played. If nothing else work you can try holding the power button down on the front of the console until it shuts off then unplug it from the outlet
for 30sec then plug back in and power back on and hopefully everything will be working properly again.

 

I should add that I'm not having trouble selecting anything, it will fix itself in a second or less, it's just annoying and it shouldn't be happening-the Xbox is brand new. And yeS, I've downloaded all the updates.

I have never herd of this by anyone else , the only fix I could suggest would be restore to factory defaults , which may be more annoying than the problem...

 

Go to settings, ease of access, and turn of the narrator. That worked for me.
