Blue Screen When Downloading

Issue: The moment a game begins to download, I encounter a freeze followed by a blue screen. This only occurs with Game Pass games. I tried downloading a free game and other games on the Microsoft Store that were not available for Game Pass
and they worked fine. I have tried multiple Game Pass games (Metro Exodus, Outer Worlds and a couple others) and the result is always the same.

Blue screen stop code: SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED

This doesn't really tell me anything because it seems to be a generic code.

Specs:

OS: Windows 10.0.18362

CPU: Intel i5-6600K

MOBO: ASRock B150 Gaming K4

GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070

I have three drives and have tried downloading to all three of them, same result.

Running out of ideas at this point. I tried a ton of potential fixes a few months, but can't really remember what all I tried. I'm leaning towards it being my motherboard, but I can't get it replaced for a long while. So I'll take anything short of a full
reset at this point.

Hi,

Normally this error is due to a graphics driver issue, however I doubt this is the reason in your case. There could be many reasons for this error including damaged hard
drives, corrupted drivers, BIOS corruptions, corrupted Windows system files or missing Windows registry entries.

This isn't a Game Pass error with the app, the reason being that the App is just a extension of the Windows Store. If you're getting a blue-screen its because you have either a Windows issue or a hardware issue.

As this is quite a complex error, it goes beyond the scope of this forum. Your best option would be to re-post your issue on the official

Extra information.

When turning on my tv, I have a blue screen which says no signal (this is normal) but when I turn my xbox on, it flicks between this blue screen and a black screen really quick

it still doesn`t work i tried evreything and when i try do download ag 360 game it goes into a blue screen and the it says error without a code

i have jagyness and blurry screen all sens the up date. it hapens when i watch blue ray and play games and at just the

home screen. it was never like this before with any of the blue ray movies and games and home screen.
