    Why the hell do I need to be online to watch dvds or blue rays? This is some bull ***. A storm took out my internet and I can't even watch a movie on my $400 counsel? Are you f'ing kidding me?

    I never heard of "Blue-Ray" is that something better than the current Blu-ray in the market?

    The Blu-Ray Association, are just backers of the Blu-Ray Disc Concept... The BDA Innovate the Blu-Ray Discs now [TDK - hard coating polymer for Blu-ray Discs etc]

    ..

    The Blu-ray Disc Founders (BDF) group was a collection of technology firms working together to develop and support the Blu-ray Disc. [After the Blu-Ray idea was put forward & was asking for investors/backers etc..]

    ..

    It's not saying, the BDF created Blu-ray... They Innovate the concept By Sony/Phillips & used it for their own setups & Brought it to market etc

    yes the Xbox one comes with blue-ray built in. and will play blue-rays and regular dvd's.

    Also are all your Blue Rays legitimate copies for the correct region?

    Games are region free but Blue Ray films are region locked.
