    Blue Ray Installation Issues


    Hey, just tried to install the Blue-Ray app on my Xbox One X and came up with the error code “0x80240013“ and the error code search would come up with anything. Anyone know what to do so I can actually download this app and watch some movies?

    COD Ghost XBOX One will not install - installation stops at 14.14 gig

    Hey Epicfirepower,

    To clarify, do similar installation issues occur with other Xbox One disc games or Blu-ray movie discs? If you haven't already, try watching a Blu-ray movie if you own one, or a couple different Xbox One disc based games and let us know how it goes.

    Hi there,

    please try the following steps:

    1. remove and quite the installation via My games & Apps if it is still present there.

    2. please try the manual power cycle steps like mentioned on the following link, be sure to wait at least 60 seconds before powering on again:
    http://support.xbox.com/en-us/xbox-one/console/power-cycle-console



    3. Download a different app or demo

    4. Install the Blu-ray app again

    I was having the exact same problem, and took WPAK's advice about the power cycling, and it didn't change anything the first time. The second time I cancelled anything queried up, deleted all notifications about the error, then power cycled and waited about
    a minute before turning it back on. When I went to download them again I only did one at a time and I watched them to see their progress. I was able to get four apps/games finally. Thank you WPAK!

    You have to have the Blue Ray app installed to watch blue ray movies. If you have it installed and they don't work, first try a hard reboot, if it still doesn't work uninstall the app and re-install it.

    I'm having the exact same issue... none of my blue rays will play.. only the audio will play as the blue ray load screen stays stuck on the blue loading screen.
