Blu Rays with "Current Preview/Trailer" Feature will not play

My Xbox One currently hangs when attempting to play Blu Ray discs, such as Universals Despicable Me 2, that have the feature of the disc that loads a current movie trailer instead of a preloaded trailer. The Blu Ray app launches, I get the universal logo
and then anywhere from 5 minutes later to never I am advised a New Preview is being downloaded to be shown. As indicated sometimes it just sits at a black screen and never loads.

Standard DVD's, Blu Rays without this feature and Game discs all work fine and load as normal. This is unique only to discs that try to load a current trailer from wherever it is trying to access it from the Production Studio involved with the disc. (In
this case Universal)

Has anyone else experienced this?

AVI Format DVDs on Xbox One...

IMHO a stand alone Blu-Ray player is always going to do a better job of playing Blu-Rays than a console. As you already own the 3D Blu-ray player what's the issue?

 

I have the almost same problem with the Despicable Me 2 blu ray disk. This was not a problem two weeks ago when I first watched the disk but it was a problem yesterday and today. For us it will download a new preview and either play the preview or just sit
on a black screen. When the preview is playing we are not able to fast forward or skip the preview and we are not able to go to the main movie menu. If when the preview finishes it just loads another and another until either the screen goes black or we give
up. We are no longer able to watch the movie!

 

Have you tried to disable the BD Live function in the settings menu?

 

I am having the same issue with Despicable Me 2 and downloading previews, Black Screen or hangs

 

Trek not Track, that suggestion worked perfectly and my family can watch Despicable 2 without issues. Thanks!

 

I had the same problem with Riddick. Quitting the blu-ray app and relaunching it worked for me. Turning off the BD Live option was also suggested, but as someone else said, we shouldn't have to do that on a $500 machine!

 

I'm still having a similar problem but playing any game on my console, it just hangs at the startup and just quits the build and says please try again it took to long to start
