    maybe about a month ago a blu Ray disc wouldn't play in my Xbox one, I believe it was a Miyazaki film. I thought it might have just been something wrong with this disc, But every blu Ray movie I have tried since hasn't worked also. DVDs work fine and the
    same error pops up whenever i try to play a blu Ray, "Please try a different disc. We cannot play this one. (0x91d70001)". Some of These bluray I have played and they have worked before. I am also using the blu Ray app.

    No Movies (blu ray or dvd)

    I just received my replacement xbox one console. Progress! The new one does PLAY commerical blu ray and dvd's!!! It does NOT play any of the blu ray movie disc (BDMV) that I created. Error 0x91d70000 (the error message on the old console was
    0x91d70001).

    Progress. It does play the commerical blu ray disc (Star Trek into Darkness is the only one I have).

    I have the One S. I have a dozen other UHD Blu-rays working perfectly, but Deadpool fails to start with the error 0x91d70001. The disc was replaced by the store but even the new one fails, so it's not the disc.

    Well it won't play 3D blu-ray. If any other blu-ray, DVD, game disc work fine, the issue is with the thor regular version.

    My understanding is that the Xbone only supports 'master recorded blu-rays". Which means if you burn a blu-ray of say, your wedding, it won't play. I can confirm this as my recorded blu-rays won't play. They play just fine on my PS3. This is a HUGE oversight
    by Microsoft, being all DMR paranoid and making us suffer as a consequence. So much for their ultimate 'Media Center' box.

    No Blu-Ray is a different disc reading to the standard DVD basis. Many companys have the legal right of using it like Sony. But Microsoft isn't one of them so I'm sorry it won't play Blu-Ray DVDs. They require a Blu-Ray Disc Driver.
