    Blu-Ray: Surround sound channels not synchronized


    Hello guys,

    i have a strange problem since last month:

    When playing Blu-Ray Disks the sound channels are not synchronized. The rear channels are 0.5 seconds early which leads to a church-effect.

    Even the menu sounds are doubled as long as i'm in the Blu-Ray app. Since i close it, the sound is good again.

    Everything is set to DTS. I tried to re-install the Blu-Ray app, but it didn't work for me.

    Any suggestions?

    No Dolby Digital or DTS via optical output?

    I just read this:

    support.xbox.com/.../digital-sound-not-working

    So how is there surround sound for this but not both Dolby Digital and DTS for Blu-ray and gaming? Since the xbox auto updates, how will I know when an update that adds surround sound and 3D for Blu-ray and gaming is downloaded?

    XBOX ONE audio question (Center Speaker)

    I'm using Optical, and can get the center channel to work through Blu-Ray but not any games. I have my settings for DTS Digital Surround for optical setting.

    Xbox One S Dolby Atmos Support

    Hi guys i have just bought a dolby atmos sound bar but now the 4k blu ray says no hdr device.

    The picture is much worse as minus hdr but the sound is very decent.

    My set up is

    tv 55 sony xe90

    xbox one S

    sony ht xf9000 dolby atmos virtual surround bar and sub woofer

    + 4k blu ray.

    all cables 2.0 hdmi.

    Any ideas why now it wont play 4k blu ray in HDR?

    If you're doing everything with HDMI then ditch the optical cable. If your Blu-ray player is also a surround system, then you need to have your xbox go into the blu-ray's Input port. From the Blu-ray's HDMI Output port, go to the TV. Programming is all that
    should be left.
