For those having an issue with NAT, This is the steps i took that took mine out of Moderate to Open.

1) Go to the Xbox One settings, then Network, then under troubleshooting select "Test multiplayer connection".

2) Once the connection has been tested DO NOT press continue, instead hold RB + LB + RT + LT until another screen pops up with more information. Under Detailed NAT information it should read "Your network is behind a cone NAT", if it doesn't say that and
instead says "Your Network is behind a port-restricted NAT" redo the test.

3) After getting the correct Detailed NAT information press B then continue and your NAT Type should say Open. Hopefully this helps some. As mentioned, im not sure this was my inability to download in standbye as i have not since day one had any issues with
Multiplayer games. This entire situation came up when i was trying to investigate why standbye automatic downloads were not occurring.

Not sure about that NAT thing, NAT is usaully on the users network end. Not all routers are compatible with consoles by default.

I am not sure if the update fixed it or not, but I was having trouble with dvd+r's working. Now it seems to be playing them.

Hey Primitive, Just a thought, Under your settings where the Instant On is (Power Settings) at do you have the box checked for "Automatically Download Updates"? Also for what its worth I am on a wired connection, maybe the wireless adapter turns off when
its in instant on mode?

Just some ideas for you to ponder

All set instant on.... It doesn't work, trust me. i have reset this system more times than i can count. It for sure doesn't download without initiating it. Talking to one of my family members, same thing on there end. Its not working as MS said, yet to be
totally honest im not to surprised as there is a list of things not working as promised.

Definitely a bug in the X1 NAT detection.... after the above post, running test again the 3rd time it then changed to open nat. Nothing changed on my end as far as settings go. Either way, im not sure this is why stand by downloads haven't initiated on
there own, nonetheless, this bouncing back from cone Nat, to open Nat is interesting to say the least.
