Discus and support Blu-ray player update error 0x8024401f in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; The Blu-ray player for Xbox One attempted an update, but failed, giving error code 0x8024401f.     The Blu-ray player for Xbox One attempted an update, but failed, giving error code 0x8024401f.

    I am reporting this so that it may be corrected.

    Error Code 0x8024401F

    Error Code 0x8024401F occurred when I was trying to install 4K Blu-ray drivers so that I can use my X Box One to play these disks.

    While I saw a 3D option for a brief second in the Blu-ray settings panel, it disappeared. The Blu-ray player hasn't been updated yet to support 3D. I tested with a 3D disc and got the normal error message, then deleted the player and reinstalled it. The
    app creation date is still showing as November, 2013. They've stated an updated Blu-ray app is coming later in the preview.

    Blu Ray Problem: Cannot play Game of Thrones Season 3

    The latest update did not fix the playback issue with Game of Thrones Season 3 on Blu-Ray.

    Some users may encounter the error that was causing the Xbox to not read the disc, again, even after updating the Blu-Ray player app.

    To work around this, fire up the Blu-Ray app with no disc in your Xbox.

    You'll be prompted that there is no disc in your drive.

    Insert Game of Thrones season 3 blu-ray into your drive.

    Hello Mirkor,

    Do these movies work in a regular DVD/blu ray player? What we are thinking it could be something with your region, maybe you aren't getting the required update for the blu ray player for it to work correctly. Do you get any error codes at all?

    I don't need to download an app to use my Blu-ray player and it updates its own firmware.
