Blu ray player lip sync issues

Hi, I am having issues with my blu Ray player on my Xbox one. The lip sync when watching films is out of sync visibly with the sound. It appears to have started since the last update. I have had this issue before but not for some time now. clearing the persistent
storage worked for a while however it has not resolved the issue this time. Any ideas?

The Xbox One is a terrible Blu-Ray player, Lip Sync issues and disc skipping. So much for the all in One device.

 

Serious Blu-ray Player App Issues

There are two huge issues with the Blu-ray Player app:

1. lip-sync issues when the console is set to 24Hz Blu-ray Video Playback.
2. No HDMI audio pass-through to receiver.

The lip-sync issue is quite bad. If I disable the "24Hz Video Playback" in the console System Settings, lip-sync is fine. My HDTV supports 24Hz video, and I expect the Xbox One to properly support this. I have a Pioneer VSX-32 which supports 24Hz HDMI,
and decodes all HD audio codecs (DTS-MA, Dolby TrueHD, etc.) In order for the Blu-ray player app to be of any use for me, it must have these two issues fixed.

 

I have also had the same issue (since the most recent update). Only seems to affect the blu ray player app. Netflix and the media player app are working as expected.

 

I am also having problems with this. The app seems to need updating very regularly too (not that this helps). I'm getting a bit fed up waiting for it to be fixed - I might just buy a Blu-Ray player because this appears to be a significant weak point in the
X-box.
