Blu-Ray player (0x91d7000a) and Netflix (x7361-1254-C00d7159) HDCP errors

So after trying to play DVD's and Blu-Rays disc's on my Xbox One, I get the error 0x91d7000a code. I have searching around forums and tweeted Xbox Support on Twitter and found no solution to this error. I also get a similar error when trying to play shows
on Netflix on the One, again being due to some sort of HDCP/"Output protection error". I have no device connected in between console and TV, also use the supplied HDMI cable, so I guess both of those can be ruled out for the errors. Hopefully someone can help
me fix this error/give me some information as to why they are happening.

    Thanks.

    :)

  2. Netflix error x7361-1254-c00d7159

I was hoping that the update would've fixed this error for me however it dis not. I attempted a factory reset multiple cable multiple makes and models of televisions as well as a splitter to attempt to get around this problem. I am unable to play DVD's,
Blu-Rays & Netflix. Every other video app (Hulu, Amazon, Xbox Video) all work. Continue to receive the Netflix error x7361-1254-c00d7159 and HDCP error when attempting to play physical media. Ive attempted every troubleshooting step on this forum as well as
going through all the troubleshooting possible through XBox Support to no avail. Is anyone else still experiencing this?

    Netflix error x7361-1254-c00d7159

If people haven't figured this out I think I may be able to help. I was having this same problem. My set up is a sony Bravia lcd circa 2007, an Integra receiver, an xbox 360 and xbox one both going into the receiver with a 3 in 1 out hdmi cable so both
consoles are going into the same hdmi port on receiver and it all works now. I don't know exactly what part of what I did made it work but this is what I'm doing. I switched off any upscaling etc on receiver to just hdmi passthough. To me I don't care about
receiver doing anything with picture quality. On the xbox one I changed the power settings to energy saver from the always on setting. I also used the hdmi cable that came with the xbox one and had it run from the xbox one to one of the 3 ports on the 3
in 1 out. Before I did all this I couldn't watch netflix or even a dvd on the xbox one. I tested things several times I've switched between xbox 360 and xbox one. Turned things off and on and I'm still good to go. I think one of the biggest problems might
be when receiver try to modify the video signal but this is just a guess. Good luck

I get the same thing. If I eject and restart DVD several times it usually works. I think they need an update for the Blu-ray player App

Have you tried a different HDMI cable just to be sure, or a different HDMI port on the TV...or try doing both.

Tried a different HDMI cable, and there is only 1 port on my current TV.

I'm having the exact same problem and nothing works with my UK Xbox One...My LG TV is less than a year old with 2 HDMI ports, both result in same error message even when a different HDMI cable is used and the power options are changed.

If it isn't happening with other devices to your TV and you've tried different cables, then it sounds like it must be a faulty output chip on the X1, and probably needs a replacement.

  9. I had the same problem earlier.

I changed the HDMI port the cable was plugged into and that seemed to resolve the problem for now.

However, I'm pretty sure I had this issue before and changed HDMI socket already. They'd better fix it soon, as I don't have any more HDMI ports left!

I think it is something to do with the software, though. Why else would it work in one socket and not another? Why else would I be able to watched a DVD on it 3 days ago and not now?

I have this problem also. Usually get it to play after shutting xbox off and restart. This is a crap.Blu rays should just play _ not have to go thru 5-6 rinky dink work arounds every time.

  12. Since I got my xbox one I haven't been able to play a single DVD or bluray. It just comes up with the 0x91d700a error code and stays on the blue screen. After troubleshooting with an xbox representative, I did a repair order to get a new xbox one. That xbox
one came in today and I'm having the same issue. I just opened it and plugged it in and I'm getting the same error. Getting aggravated with this console. Help me out!!

Blu-Ray player (0x91d7000a) and Netflix (x7361-1254-C00d7159) HDCP errors

Ditto for me, already had the Xbox One swapped out to no avail.

There appears to be a compatibility issue in HDCP content protection over HDMI between the Xbox One and my television Panasonic model TX-P42GT20B. When I play HDCP protected content (from Blu-ray player app, from Amazon Instant Video app) over a direct HDMI
connection to my television the content works fine. However if I switch the TV input to a different source briefly (e.g. to tune in a TV channel) through the remote control and then switch back to the input source for the Xbox it refuses to play any HDCP content
until the Xbox is rebooted. All HDCP content is a black screen. Non-protected content is still working, including menus, the progress slider for the video. Even audio is playing (through SPDIF) but HDCP video is broken. It is restored by doing a hard (but
not soft) reset of the Xbox. I can tell that the Xbox detects the input source has been changed on the TV because audio (which is going direct to an amp) halts, so the Xbox is pausing video playback, but won't allow it to start again. The same TV, same HDMI
cable, same configuration works from 3 other HDCP devices (two bluray players and a set top box) so there's not a fundamental issue with the TV or its HDCP support, but the Xbox One appears to get into an unhappy state which can be cleared with a cold restart.

Over the course of 4 months I've been trying to get this issue resolved, I have various support case numbers. After two months of being told it was a software problem I was suddenly told it might be a hardware problem and asked to return my unit. The unit
was merely reset without any "repair" and returned damaged. I have now been sent a replacement. At all times the problem with HDCP content has persisted, so clearly it is not a fault with any particular Xbox.

It is however still a fault, and I feel as though I'm being treated dishonestly by support. For one thing, the distinction between a hardware or software fault I understand, but is irrelevant to me as a customer other than what the remedy might be (if it
is a hardware fault then swapping the unit should fix it). A device that has to be rebooted anytime I switch TV sources is no less broken or useless for having a software fault than a hardware fault, yet somehow it is acceptable to never fix this problem if
it's "software". This is a pointless distinction that the manufacturer of my Blu-ray player couldn't hide behind, could you imagine them telling me the hardware is fine but the firmware has a problem, so I should tolerate the fact that it doesn't work?

I didn't actually find a fix to this, I ended up getting a new monitor (Unrelated to the issue) and it works now and blurays play fine for me, I guess its down to older TV's.
