    Blu-ray menu not showing up

I'm trying to watch the 4K version of Planet Earth 2, but the disc menu doesn't show upup So I cant choose which episode I want to watch. The video for the main menu is playing, as well as the audio, but the menu options themselves don't show up. This wasn't
an issue last week, and I just noticed that there was an update to the Blu-ray player app on April 12th so I'm assuming something broke. Is this a known issue?

    :)

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.

  3. Home Button Not Working

Seriously, this started a few days ago. Could get out of the Blu-ray.

Now playing a game and can't get back home.

I press the home button and I hear the side menu pop up, but nothing is showing.

If I long press the home button it bring up the console power down, narrator, and magnifier menu. So the home button is working.

Just not for bringing up the side menu.

    What's up XBOX.

    Blu-ray menu not showing up

    Heya HedgeKeeper2000.

If you power cycle your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds until it powers off completely, are you still having issues accessing the blu-ray menu? Let us know so that we can best help out.

    Hi Mister Maka,

This did not help. I'm still not seeing the Blu-ray menu. Do you know if there's a way to revert my app to the previous (working) version?

    Thank you.

    Hey there.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to revert to a previous version, but have you tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling to see if there's any change?

No, uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not work. Again, has anyone else reported this issue? The main (and probably only) reason I wanted to get an XBox One S was for the 4K blu-ray capability - especially for Planet Earth 2. So far it has failed
    me.

  8. Blu-ray menu not showing up

I'm having the same issue with Planet Earth 2. I recently purchased my Xbox One S just to use it as a 4K blu-ray player, so I'm not very happy.

I tried both solutions to no avail. Turning the power off and on didn't help it. Uninstalling and installing again didn't fix it.

This behavior started immediately after the last update. It seemed to break all overlay capability. The Closed Captioning / subtitles do NOT display. The pop-up menu won't display either.

Please get working on an update to fix this.

    Hey again everyone.

To check, do you have another blu-ray you can test? If other movies are working, the issue may be on the end of the blu-ray and may be worth reaching out to the studio for assistance.

  10. Seriously?

This used to work with this 4k blu-ray on this Xbox One S. The only thing that changed was the software update on the Blu-ray player application.

The movie previously played without issues. I am not contacting the studio, I'm contacting YOU for assistance.

    Stop deflecting and start fixing!

I was having the same issue with Planet Earth II's menu not being accessible last night. There is a Blu-ray Player App update out today that seems to have fixed the problem.

  12. The most recent blu-ray application update resolved this issue.
