    blu-ray live streaming previews preventing disk menu from showing up (despicable me 2)


    In the bluray app, a disk with blu-ray live streaming previews from the internet blocks out the FF / Skip / Popup Menu / Top Menu buttons on the menu and shows a red circle with line through it when selected. And in the middle of streaming some previews,
    it goes black screen with none of the aforementioned buttons doing anything to resolve.

    Had to restart the bluray app and watch all these previews AGAIN!!! Then i restarted a third time and spammed the popup menu button and finally got to the disk menu.

    Not allowing users to skip previews, is this intended functionality!?!?!?

    Blu-ray live crashes and cannot start a movie! (Despicable me 2)

    The blu-ray live streaming previews from the internet blocks out the FF / Skip / Popup Menu / Top Menu buttons on the menu and shows a red circle with line through it when selected. And in the middle of streaming some previews, it goes black screen with
    none of the aforementioned buttons doing anything to resolve.

    Xbox one advertising on blu ray

    I put in jurassic park on blu ray android watched some special features then took it out, the put it back in an ads came up! X finite an despicable me 2!!!! What the heck!!!!!!!

    I am having the same problem. The trailers stream for a while, then everything freezes up. I restarted the disk, restarted the app, and restarted the Xbox One. No luck. I finally disconnected from the Internet and was able to get to the menu. Very annoying,
    but at least it worked. Plugged in after getting to the menu and it was fine.

    Disconnect from the Internet while viewing a "live preview" disk - restart, and get to the menu. It's a temporary fix. Hopefully they'll debug the app soon.

    Disconnect from the Internet while viewing a "live preview" disk - restart, and get to the menu. It's a temporary fix. Hopefully they'll debug the app soon.

    Blu Rays with "Current Preview/Trailer" Feature will not play

    I have the almost same problem with the Despicable Me 2 blu ray disk. This was not a problem two weeks ago when I first watched the disk but it was a problem yesterday and today. For us it will download a new preview and either play the preview or just sit
    on a black screen. When the preview is playing we are not able to fast forward or skip the preview and we are not able to go to the main movie menu. If when the preview finishes it just loads another and another until either the screen goes black or we give
    up. We are no longer able to watch the movie!

    Problem with Blu-Ray playback

    Hi MadMartinMarsh,

    Assuming you haven't already done so, try the following :

    1. Try playing a different Blu-ray disk and cleaning your disk too.

    2. Reset the cache and restart: Settings / Power & Startup / Restart now.

    3. Launch the Blu-ray Player app. If it's still acting up, go back to the dashboard and Show Menu (or menu button on the Blu-ray Player app) / Manage App / Manage All / Uninstall All

    4. Install the app again by ejecting and inserting your Blu-ray disk again. It should automatically prompt you to install it again.

    5. Try playing your disk again.

    Let us know how you get on.
