Blu-ray live crashes and cannot start a movie! (Despicable me 2)

The blu-ray live streaming previews from the internet blocks out the FF / Skip / Popup Menu / Top Menu buttons on the menu and shows a red circle with line through it when selected. And in the middle of streaming some previews, it goes black screen with
none of the aforementioned buttons doing anything to resolve.

Had to restart the bluray app and watch all these previews AGAIN!!! Then i restarted a third time and spammed the popup menu button and finally got to the disk menu.

Not allowing users to skip previews, is this intended functionality!?!?!?

Xbox one advertising on blu ray

I put in jurassic park on blu ray android watched some special features then took it out, the put it back in an ads came up! X finite an despicable me 2!!!! What the heck!!!!!!!

blu-ray app crashing to dashboard

Bought my first blu-ray movie, downloaded and installed the blu-ray app for the xbox one,

tried opening the app, immediately crashes to dashboard. same thing happens when i insert the disc, app starts and immediately crashes back to dashboard.

Tried holding power button for 10s, no luck

Tried unplugging the console from the power socket for a minute, restart, still no luck.

same issue every time, any help?

My other apps dont crash, when they did, a power reset generally fixes it.

i know, mine does too. Tried playing Riddick last night. no skipping of previews and once it starts loading main menu it freezes. tried 3 times, then played it on my PS 4. Cant even use my X1 as a BD player

Does the dashboard freeze up as well? My first xbox one did not work with blu ray, skipped and glitched out, dashboard froze. Uninstalled app as per microsoft dashboard was fine xbox worked, reinstalled app, froze and poor blu ray playback. They sent new
one has not been an issue with the few blu rays I have watched so far fingers crossed.

I can't believe how many features are missing from the Blu-ray player, no 3d, no zoom or full screen playback for DVD's. Very disappointed in it

My blu ray app isn't working either. I played Despicable Me 2 on blu ray last night and it worked fine as well. I also uninstalled the blu ray app and am trying to reinstall it and the message I receive is as follows: Content isn't available - It might
be a temporary issue, so try checking again later. (0x876c0001) I just purchased the Call of Duty Xbox One, six days ago; this is very annoying. Do you think I need to return it, or is it a software glitch on their end? Let me know. Thanks.
