Total system crash on Xbox One S while running a UHD 4K BluRay & no ATMOS or DTS X.

    Hey there!

If you haven't tried already, please clear you your persistent storage with the blu-ray app following the steps in this Disc and Blu-Ray setup. If you're still having
issues with getting films to play, please create a new thread and let us know Blu-Ray issues. Please help. :) That lets us help you out one on one. Thanks!

    Off Topic Music/Movies Thread?

I know that I'm DYING to talk about how gorgeous the Blu-ray of Star Trek: TNG is, and other movies and shows and stuff as well. I run radio shows and did film studies as a minor, so pop culture is a big passion of mine. I'd happily help to moderate, if you needed some extra eyes and it wasn't immensely presumptuous Blu-Ray issues. Please help. :p (If it is, please disregard!)

(...man, the TNG Blu-ray, you guys. IT'S A THING OF BEAUTY.)

Can you start by giving us your connection setup?

Turning off 24p seem to address some of the issues with of sync sound/video.

Yes. I have 24p off on the xbox one settings. I use my ethernet cord for wired, so while one end is connected to the xbox one, the other end of the cable is plugged into my At&T U verse receiver. I also have my hdmi cable connected from HDMI out (console)
to HDMI 2 on my Emerson HDTV.

But last night after I bought my xbox one, I tried out my blu ray movies from that app and when I would skip scenes, I noticed audio was gone on a couple of movies while I skipped to scenes that were after the beginning.
Then last night I checked Netflix, and the audio does the same things if I fast foward into a movie and click play. For some reason, the movies beginning and end are playing audio though. I would say it's my TV, but if that was the case, I
shouldn't be hearing the beginning or end. This seems to me like a software issue, maybe?

If you are connected directly to your TV via HDMI, what is your sound settings on the X1? Stereo?

Have you tried a different HDMI cable and/or different input on the TV?
